RV Parks and Resorts Pool on site Scenic Byways and Drives

Haggard's RV Campground is family-friendly with an old-fashion charm. Enjoy the regions culture, nature, and recreation in the San Isabel National Forest (including Bishop's Castle and Lake Pueblo).

OPEN DATES: Springtime in Colorado can be snowy and wet; if you're planning a March vacation, please call us first. Thank you.

CAMPGROUND AMENITIES: Big Rig Friendly • full hookups and pull-thrus • swimming pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (not heated and weather permitting) • well water (heavy mineral) • hot showers • playground and horseshoes.

PUEBLO RESERVOIR: Drive 10 minutes to prime fishing waters and a swimming beach. Lake Pueblo State Park is one of the prime recreation destinations in Colorado, whether you want to boat, waterski, sail, swim, fish, hike, or just relax. The park offers two full-service marinas and two boat ramps.

FRONTIER PATHWAY SCENIC BYWAY: Pueblo is a central starting point for the Frontier Pathway (SH 96). Be sure to stop at Bishop's Castle on your way to Westcliffe. In Westcliffe, fish at Lake Deweese and hike part of the Rainbow Trail.

SANTA FE TRAIL SCENIC BYWAY connects Missouri to Santa Fe, New Mexico via Colorado.

An important 19th century trade corridor linking Mexico and the United States, the Santa Fe Trail is now closely paralleled by this byway, which loops through Colorado for 188 miles into New Mexico. Look for wagon wheel ruts along the road and historic Bent's Fort.

LOCATION: In South-central Colorado, set against a background of the Greenhorn and Sangre de Cristo mountain ranges to the south and west and the magnificent Pikes Peak to the north. Pueblo West is at the intersection of Highway I-25, US 50, SH 98, and SH 78. We are 10 minutes from Pueblo West to the east and Penrose to the west, and 15 miles from Pueblo (east) and Cañon City (west).

DRIVE TIMES: Cañon City CO, is 20 minutes west. Pueblo CO, is 25 minutes east. Colorado Springs CO, is 60 minutes north. Cripple Creek CO, is 90 minutes northwest. Denver CO, is 2 hours. Fort Collins CO, is 3.5 hours. Cheyenne WY, is 4 hours. Durango and Grand Junction CO, are both 5 hours. Albuquerque NM, is 5 hours. Lubbock TX, is 7 hours. Manhattan KS, is 7.5 hours.
